This microblading fundamentals training combines art principles that will provide students a solid foundation to build upon in permanent makeup. GiacMicro Academy Founder/Head Instructor, Erica Giacalone will walk you through each step from theory to hands-on practice with live models. Class sizes are small to allow each student quality one-on-one time with Erica as they work on live models start to finish. These classes are designed so that students will be able to CONFIDENTLY start microblading on their own upon completion of the course.
This fundamentals course is designed for beginners as well as current microbladers looking to perfect the fundamentals of producing a beautiful brow. Upon completion, students are awarded a certificate and are able to immediately begin working as a new microblading artist.** Ongoing support to all GiacMicro Academy graduates is also provided. See our course curriculum below for more details.
**The microblading procedure must take place in a clinical setting with a licensed medical doctor present due to SC state laws and regulations.

FAQs
Where is this course held?
All 3 days of training will be held on site in our facility. We are located inside of Ember Modern Medicine at 1068 N Church St. in downtown Greenville, SC. There is a large parking lot in the front for plenty of parking!
How do I enroll?
You can enroll by calling (864) 905-0602 and reserving your spot. A 20% deposit of $700 will be due to secure your reservation. The remaining balance will be due 48 hours prior to the class start date or the student forfeits the reservation and the deposit.
Is there any licensing requirements or pre-requisites I need to have before taking this course?
No microblading or permanent makeup experience is required! You will learn the fundamentals and practice habits to be successful with this skill from start to finish.
What kind of return can I expect after investing in this training?
The average cost of a microblading procedure is $500. If you took ONE client a day for a five-day work week, that’s $2,500/weekly. That’s $10k monthly or $120k annually.
Is the market saturated with artists already performing this procedure?
Microblading has become very popular, which will work in your advantage. This is a very sought out procedure and there has never been a better time to be a skilled artist for microblading. However, the word ‘skilled’ is important in this equation. Many microbladers, who are motivated by only the income, jump on board and start offering this service without adequate training and experience. This becomes a problem when more and more botched microblade work surfaces and clients begin to distrust this process as a whole. Clients become very selective on who they recommend to others and trust the artists who have a standout portfolio. This is what will set you apart: proper training for a strong foundation for a successful career. You will not only learn the right and wrong way of this process, but also how to excel and become highly recommended in this field as a truly skilled artist.
Will this microblading trend ever go away?
NEVER. Pigmenting the brow line with precise, fine strokes that so closely replicate the appearance of hair will never become a diminishing demand. Yes, brow trends of fullness and shape will vary, but never will we choose a natural sparse or balding brow over this 3-D procedure. The trends that will weaken are the heavier, machine shaded tattoo procedures in the brow that simulate the powdery, ombre makeup appearance. Makeup looks change rapidly, and people will eventually move away from a heavy look to a more natural look (if they can, given the heavier, machine tattoos are more permanent in the skin). In addition to those clients with an aesthetic desire to upgrade their brows, there will always be a need for microblading with clients suffering from Alopecia, cancer treatments, burns, scars, and other disorders affecting the brow line.
What is course attire?
Course attire is casual, no scrubs required. Dress in comfortable clothing, jeans are permitted.
Is financing available for payment?
No financing is available at this time, however all major credit and debit cards are accepted. Cash is also accepted!
