Lip Blushing

Why Choose Lip Blush?

Lip Blush is a cosmetic tattoo treatment that gently implants pigment into the lips using a precise machine and fine needle cartridges. It’s designed to enhance your natural lip color, shape, and symmetry without looking like heavy lipstick, just a soft, sheer tint that heals beautifully.

The end result is a more even, subtly defined lip that can correct uneven tone, faded color, or soft edges. Once healed, your lips look naturally healthier and more balanced. Like your own lips, just elevated.

Our Process

  • Geometric drawing of an outline square with sections divided by vertical, horizontal, and diagonal lines.

    Consultation

Every lip blush appointment begins with a personalized consultation to ensure your results are tailored to you.

During this time, we’ll discuss your goals, desired lip color, and overall expectations. Your natural lip tone, skin tone, and lip shape will be carefully evaluated to select the most flattering pigment and determine the best approach for your lips.

This is also your opportunity to ask questions, review the process, and feel confident moving forward. We’ll go over medical history, lifestyle factors, and pre-care instructions to make sure you’re fully prepared for your appointment.

Our goal during the consultation is to create a customized plan that enhances your natural beauty while delivering soft, natural-looking results.

    Prevent

Lip blushing is a cosmetic tattoo procedure that can trigger a cold sore (oral herpes outbreak), even in clients who have never had one before. Cold sores can:

    Interfere with healing

Cause pigment loss or uneven results

Increase the risk of scarring or infection

To help prevent this, clients are prescribed Acyclovir (an antiviral medication) to take before and after the procedure.

    Initial Session

Your first lip blush appointment is designed to be comfortable, relaxing, and customized just for you. Here’s what you can expect from start to finish:

    1. Consultation & Color Selection

We begin with a detailed consultation to discuss your goals, natural lip tone, and desired outcome. Together, we’ll choose the perfect pigment shade to enhance your lips while keeping the results soft and natural.

    2. Prepping & Numbing

Your lips will be gently cleansed, and a topical numbing cream will be applied to keep you comfortable throughout the procedure.

    3. Mapping Your Lips

Before starting, your lips will be carefully mapped to ensure symmetry and balance. This step allows you to preview the shape and approve everything before we begin.

    4. The Lip Blush Procedure

Using a specialized machine, pigment is softly deposited into the lips to enhance color, improve symmetry, and create a more defined appearance. Most clients describe the sensation as mild and very tolerable.

    5. Aftercare Instructions

Once your appointment is complete, you’ll receive detailed aftercare instructions to support proper healing and ensure the best possible results.

    How Long Does It Take?

Your first appointment typically takes 2 hours, including consultation, numbing, and the procedure.

  • Geometric drawing of an outline square with sections divided by vertical, horizontal, and diagonal lines.

    Second Session

Your Perfecting Session (4–6 Weeks Later)

Your second appointment, also known as the perfecting session, is an essential part of the lip blush process. This session ensures your results heal beautifully and last as long as possible.

Why Is the Second Session Needed?

Lips can heal unevenly due to natural factors like skin type, lifestyle, and how your body retains pigment. The perfecting session allows us to reinforce color, correct any areas that healed lighter, and refine the overall shape if needed.

    What Happens at This Appointment?

During your perfecting session, we will assess how your lips healed, make any necessary adjustments to color intensity, and add additional pigment to create a more even, polished result.

    How Long Does It Take?

Perfecting sessions typically take 1.5 hours, depending on how your lips healed and the adjustments needed.
