Preparation for Your Appointment
Proper preparation helps ensure the best results and a smooth healing process.
Before your appointment:
Avoid caffeine on the day of your appointment
Do not wear eye makeup to your appointment
Discontinue lash serums at least 4 weeks prior
Remove eyelash extensions at least 1 week before your appointment
Avoid alcohol for 24 hours prior
Avoid blood-thinning medications or supplements (if medically approved)
If you wear contact lenses, bring glasses to wear after your appointment
Following these steps helps minimize sensitivity, swelling, and bleeding during your procedure.
-

Initial Session
Your Initial Permanent Eyeliner Session is where your custom liner is carefully designed and implanted.
During this appointment:
We will map and design your eyeliner to complement your eye shape
A topical numbing agent will be applied to keep you comfortable
Pigment is gently placed along the lash line using precise techniques
We will review aftercare instructions before you leave
Appointment time: Typically, 1.5-2 hours
After your initial session, your eyeliner will appear darker and slightly thicker. This is normal and will soften as it heals.
-

Second Session
Your Second Session, scheduled 4–6 weeks after your initial appointment, is essential for perfecting your results.
During this session:
We refine the shape and color after healing
Fill in any areas where pigment healed lighter
Make small adjustments to thickness or definition if needed
Ensure long-lasting, even results
The second session is required to achieve the final, polished look. Once healed, your eyeliner will appear softer and more natural.
What to Expect After Permanent Eyeliner
Day 1: You’ll love your new eyeliner!
Your eyeliner color is approximately 30% darker than it will be when it’s healed. It will also appear slightly larger than it will heal in just a few days. This is due to color oxidation as well as a small amount of swelling and it is a normal part of your healing process. You will have no trouble driving home and going about the rest of your day normally. It’s unlikely that anyone will notice you’ve had your eyeliner permanently done except for possibly those you know very well.
Days 2-3: Your color will darken temporarily as the pigment oxidizes and thin scabs will form.
You may wake up slightly puffy, but you can remedy this by sleeping on an incline or applying a cool compress. Your eyeliner will feel tight and dry, but not painful.
Days 3-5: Your eyeliner will begin flaking until there is no scabbing left.
You want to allow healing to shed naturally. Once all scabbing has finished flaking, it is common for the color to appear lighter than it will eventually heal. This lighter color is only temporary as your freshly healed skin is hiding the true color underneath. Over the next several weeks your eyeliner color will bloom.
Day 42: At 6 weeks your eyeliner is fully healed.
It’s now okay for you to come back in for your follow up. Any adjustments such as darkening the color or altering the shape can be done at this appointment.
Eyeliner Aftercare
Day 1-2: Try to keep eyelids as dry as possible. Do not apply any moisturizers or ointments.
Day 3-7: Apply ointment twice a day
